Visiting from out of state, we came here for lunch on a Friday, hoping to enjoy some REAL German food and beer. It was a bit overwhelming deciding what to order but the server was outstanding in his knowledge of the different beers and menu items. We decided to try the 6 beer sampler, along with the Oktoberfest Plate and pierogi. It was excellent! Honestly, I was hoping for live entertainment and that the place would be packed with visitors celebrating Oktoberfest but it was actually very quiet. This worked in our favor. The very talented, local accordion player (Joe) happened to stop in while we were nearly through with our meal. He was so kind to come to our table and serenade my girlfriend and I with a perfect blend of German, Italian, and polka classics. I can't put into words how perfect this this was for us. This is such a MUST place to visit!

We go every time we stay near Myrtle! Delightful decor, attention to detail was wonderful in our food. First time having stuffed cabbage. Wonderful!!!

Amazing food, friendly staff. I love the chicken schnitzel and my other half usually gets the sausage plate. The goulash is awesome and I highly suggest it if you're there when it's on the menu. The garlic soup is good as well. Definitely get the gravy on your spätzle.

This is the most authentic Austrian / German food I've had this side of the Atlantic! I've been twice and both times, my husband and I share the Feast for Two and leave extremely satisfied. Everything is delicious! The decor is a hoot - a little cheesy but somehow perfect and feeling like the old world. The staff is friendly and wear lederhosen and dirndls!

Enjoyed their Happy Hour earlier today.Had the "Sausage Sampler Plate" and really enjoyed it, and the pretzels were still nice and warm. 👍Great service from Maddie!

Made sure to stop here again after last year and it was even better! It's not super cheap but the food is so darn good that it's worth it! Jeff was a super nice server! Thanks again!

Enjoyed a good meal here. Nice German/Austrian vibe inside. They offer a beer tasting paddle of about 6 beers on tap from the Bavarian region. Spaetzle noodles are outstanding as is the schnitzel. The apple strudel was amazing. Definitely a great place to eat in MB. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Enjoyed the early bird special. 3 course meal for $13.95. Meal was overall very good. Service was attentive.

A wonderful German restaurant with a cozy and friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and very authentic. The Oktoberfest sausage plate was very generous and so very good. The dumplings are simply the best. The potato cakes are a must try. Their bread is fresh. Didn’t make it to dessert. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable considering what you were served. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back.

I had the Pork Cordon Blue with sauerkraut. The food and service was great along with the atmosphere. Price was reasonable in comparison to other restaurants.

If you love German/Austrian food, do NOT miss this place. Great German beer on tap. Live accordion polka music (need I say more). Viennese goulash. Stuffed cabbage with spatzel. Apple streudel made in-house. Definitely coming back.

Fantastic German food in the heart of Myrtle Beach! We have tried just about everything on the menu over the past couple of years. Plus, we love to take our guests when they visit. It has never failed to impress.We love to stop when we are out with our Nikolai! They have an outdoor covered patio that is perfect for a family meal. ( Including our pooch)The staff is always fabulous and brings water to our Nikolai.

The only restaurant you can go and eat at that's guaranteed to give you good food, good service, and a good peace of mind.

Oh my goodness if you enjoy genuine German cuisine, please visit these ladies and gentlemen! This was such an amazing place! The menu has lots of delicious options, and the prices for the quality and quantity of food are great. I believe my meal of sauerbraten, spiced red cabbage, and spaetzle was 21.99. And it was well worth it! There was also a very talented gentleman playing live dinner music, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone!

You cannot go wrong here. Food is out of this world. Fresh, authentic and delicious. We have been frequenting this restaurant since their prior location which was very small and reservations were challenging. We love the new place!

By the time I actually got to the restaurant, the rest of my party were just getting dessert and had ordered the corned beef and cabbage for me. It was great, even if it had been sitting a couple minutes already. I think I had devoured most of it before our server even had time to get my drink order. The atmosphere is real relaxed, but also really nice. You could just as easily go there after a day on the beach as you could after church or something like that. Also, I had the black forest cake which is really good. Check it out! For your health.

Food was good. Beer was great! Service was a bit slow but all in all a wonderful experience. Recommend reservations if you want to eat inside. Weather was perfect to sit outside and if you want a nice change from most of the regular places you must go here.

This place is truly a great feel for it's culture. Atmosphere is very warm and inviting, the weight staff is in appropriate dress for the cuisine style, and of course the food is absolutely fantastic! The Viennese goulash and the stuffed cabbage lunch where our choices and where probably some of the best we've ever had. The prices were white reasonable in the portion size will prevent you from leaving hungry. If you've ever been to Frankenmuth Michigan and are a fan of that, you are going to want to visit Cafe old Vienna whenever you are in this area!

If you're looking for a place to get an amazing schnitzel, potato pancakes and some spaetzle, this is definitely it. Food is exceptionally tasty, even the vegetarian platter was pretty scrumptious. The servers were friendly and quick and the environment is unique.

Vacationing from Florida our 33rd wedding Anniversary, the food was delicious, grilled chicken with garlic butter, red cabbage and noodles.

Return to Europe here for a taste of the world foods. Brats, cabbage, gravy and spaetzle! Fun for a change in the normaldining experience!

We have been to MB many times and have never been to Old Vienna Cafe. What a fabulous place. It was a crowded saturday night, and the bartender Marina said this is typical, tuesdays are just as busy. There was live music--fun! We had schnitzel, both of us, one was even pretzel encrusted. Oktoberfest was in full swing there. The food was hot and delicious, and for a crowded night, the wait time was not long. Our server Serge was friendly and always anticipated our needs (he deserves a raise!) I recommend making reservations...We will be back , and might even make special trips here!

Loved this place, there was a live accordian player playing polkas and the food and beer was amazing. Prices were really great during happy hour too.

We enjoyed the entree. But the made in house apple dessert was a big disappointment! We've had it before and it eased very good. but this time we were hard pressed to find many apples!

The food was really flavor and delicious. I ordered the fried mushroom and the pork belly appetizers. Everything we ate there was tender and cooked to perfection.

We enjoyed this restaurant greatly. I lived in Germany as a child, and remember veal wiener schnitzel, their is very close.y wife is on gluten free diet and they had a menu for that. Friendly staff, background music was German enhancing The experienceOnly negative was someone the decorations we're not authentic.

Food was very good. Staff was pleasant. Loved the ambience of the decor and music playing. Tried the beer flight which i would recommend to first timers. The Saurbraten was so delicious I would highly recommend it as well as the hot pretzel, the cucumber salad and the potato salad. We tried the apple strudel for dessert and to me it was just OK but overall the food was very good and I would definitely go back. Hopefully when its warmer and when they have live music.

Can't say anything but positive review. My husband and I ate there for the first time recently and were soooooo pleased with our food. We've spent some time in Germany and this place really nails it! Spending the winter down here and will most definitely be coming back. A++++
